Terms and Conditions
AAA Garage Inc. is committed to providing its customers with quality products and workmanship. In the event that any trouble with an installation or product arises, AAA Garage Door Inc. will resolve the issue in a timely manner. AAA Garage Door Inc. is fully insured with both General Liability Insurance and Worker’s Compensation Insurance.
Any quote may be withdrawn by AAA Garage Door Inc. if not accepted within thirty (30) days.
Should it become necessary to place your account for collection, the customer who authorized the quote shall be responsible for all costs of collection, including but not limited to reasonable attorney fees involved in the collection of any outstanding amounts.
Service work and replacement parts are guaranteed for ninety (90) days unless stated otherwise.
If within the 90-day period the SAME problem arises due to normal use, we will attempt to correct the problem with no additional labor charges to the customer. The customer shall be responsible for any additional parts that may be needed to correct the problem. If the issue cannot be corrected after several attempts, the monies spent on the repair(s) will be credited toward the purchase of a new installed product. No refunds are given for service work.
By requesting a technician to be dispatched to your home or business, you agree to pay the current service fee quoted at the time of your request. If the service is not completed, for any reason, a minimum on-site charge will be assessed.
Product Selection
By accepting our quote, whether by signature, email, or verbally, the customer confirms that he/she has seen a sample of the product and color and texture of the product. NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS WILL BE GIVEN FOR “WRONG COLOR” CHOICES.
Please consider environmental conditions when selecting product type and material. Damp environments, salt air, along with sun and shade conditions can have an impact on materials, especially wood. For instance, if you live on the ocean and the garage door never sees any sun, a wooden door is probably not the best choice of material.
Wasted Trip
Wasted trips due to customer’s failure to adequately clean the garage or have the garage area properly prepared to accept installation at the agreed-upon installation date will result in a $50 wasted trip fee, which will be added to the final balance due and will be due at the time of the installation.
Garage Door Installations
Garage door installations will be performed in the most efficient manner possible and according to industry standard practices as governed by the IDA. It is the customer’s responsibility to make sure that the driveway is clear of vehicles, to allow our installation truck to back up to the garage. It is also the responsibility of the customer to make sure that the garage is clear of vehicles and/or materials that will hinder the installation. The installer requires a working space equal to the space underneath the door when it is in the open position. clear of vehicles and/or materials that will hinder the installation. If the work cannot be performed on the scheduled installation date, a wasted trip fee will be incurred. When a customer pays AAA Garage Door Inc. for disposal of the existing door, it is AAA Garage Door Inc.’s responsibility to discard any materials that were remaining as a result of the installation.
No carpentry work, electrical wiring, lumber or painting is included unless specifically indicated at the time of sale.
We are not responsible for any damage that may be incurred to any electrical wiring, plumbing, or other such items that have been previously installed under sheetrock or plaster that is not visible to our technicians.
Carefully consider your environmental conditions prior to selecting the type of material for your new garage door. Salt air and/or moist environments can cause garage door components to break down more quickly than typical.(CUSTOMER ARE REQUIRED TO PAY FULL BALANCE UPON INSTALLATION OR IT MAY OCCUR A DAILY EXTRA CHARGES )
Garage Door Opener Installation
It is the responsibility of the customer to provide a grounded outlet in the correct location for the garage opener installation. Manufacturer or labor warranty will not apply for any units that are plugged into an extension cord or plug adapter. Manufacturer warranty does not cover electrical disturbances such as power surges and/or lightning strikes. Photocell misalignment is not covered under AAA Garage Door Inc.’s labor warranty. Garage door openers that do not meet current UL-325 standards will not be reconnected to the new door.
AAA Garage Door Inc.cannot guarantee that your built-in vehicle remote will operate the LiftMaster garage door opener system. For more information, please visit homelink.com.
Garage door openers not equipped with safety eyes cannot be serviced by AAA Garage Door Inc. The customer claims all liability and responsibility for reconnecting an opener that is not UL-325 compliant.
Warranty
Please refer to the manufacturer warranty for the specific model that you have purchased. AAA Garage Door Inc. provided a one year labor warranty on the installation of any garage door and/or garage door opener, unless specifically stated otherwise at the time of sale. Warranty period begins on the date of installation. We do not warranty any garage door opener that is reconnected to the new door.
Existing Conditions
Any conditions that exist prior to the installation of the new door will remain after the new installation, such as but not limited to the following: If the floor is broken, out of level or sloped, the new door will not seal tightly to the floor.
If there is a drainage issue, a new door will not stop water from coming under the bottom of the door.
During windy rain/hurricane storms, water may come through underneath the door even if the floor is level.
If the garage door opening and/or floor are out of level, out of square, or out of plumb, the garage door may appear crooked in the opening. The door must be installed level, and cannot be set to the existing opening/floor.
Arched or 45 angle corners on the garage door opening can damage the bottom rubber, perimeter weather strip, and can also rub the paint off of the face of the garage door.
Cancellation Policy
Any deposit given for an order will be surrendered by the customer if the order is cancelled. If the order was cancelled prior to installation, the money will remain on your account as a store credit which can be used toward the purchase of any product or service. Unless it’s a custom or special order the deposit would be for that specific door and the remaining balance would still be due regardless of installation.If you have ordered through the Home Projects program, your Home Projects account will be charged 25% of the total.
Forfeiture of Deposit
Customer agrees to accept delivery of product within 10-days of receipt of product. If customer does not accept delivery within the specified time frame, storage charges may apply. If you do not accept delivery and subsequently do not pay remaining balance of your special order product after 30-days, your deposit will be forfeited and the product may be resold.
AAA Garage Door Inc. and Customer agree that quantifying losses arising from Customer’s failure to accept delivery of the product is inherently difficult insofar as it may impact Our ability to carry additional inventory not related to this Contract and resell the custom made product at market rate, and further stipulate that the agreed upon sum is not a penalty, but rather a reasonable measure of damages, based upon the industry and given the nature of the losses that may result from Customer’s failure to accept delivery.
